Random memory: When I was in middle school my sister dated a guy who was really weird. He spent months making his own set of "Chain mail." When it was done, they made me wear it, for photos. It was heavy, uncomfortable, and smelled like pocket change.

We all knew Dawa would get into trouble without her conscience around; but who would think the conscience would get into trouble, too? XD

Not including the Mechakucha pages, this is the One hundredth comic I've drawn, since starting this webcomic blog. Usually, this would call for some sort of celebratory thing, but I can't think of one.

ANYWAY! This page begins the other new story arc that I promised a while back.
It shows what happens to Dawa's panda-conscience, Floyd, after he was Karate-chopped on the head by a mysterious stranger. We're still not sure what happened to him, but it seems he has been kidnapped and is on a boat of some sort.
So this is the "kidnapped arc."

And the events of the Sketchbook arc are happening at the same time as this one, so I'll be going back and forth between the two, at my leisure.

The end of Mechakucha!

Sprinkle rejects your reality and substitutes her own.

So Dawa is trapped in "the world of the sketch book," which I would think incorperates whatever drawings happen to be on near-by pages. And as Dawa's "story" proceeds, new panels appear and more pages are used up. I do not want to think about what will happen when the sketchbook runs out of paper. Hopefully someone will come along to rectify the situation before we have to find out.

Sprinkle get your tiny arse back here and undo whatever it is that you did!

And so begins the "Sketchbook" arc!

Three comics for July, woot

Sprinkle, are lightning bolts normally supposed to shoot out of something with a name as harmless-sounding as "vigour ray?" Are you sure you didn't use the wrong attack? I'm worried.

Also, you over there, it isn't nice to watch pandas do their business and then render them unconscious.

Anyway! This comic marks the "end" of the Reunion arc (it might return, later, but I don't know yet), and also the beginning of two new, concurrent arcs. (The names of which will be revealed, later.)

In other news: I think I burnt myself out on the word "meanwhile." Thesaurus, please!

You probably already know this, but lard is very fashionable amongst pandas. That is why you rarely see them hook up with other (non-panda) bears. Nothing to hold on to. (Comparatively.)
Those of us cursed with a high(ish) metabolism could never hope to attain Bruno's level of beauty. (lol.)

So much time has passed that I changed my mind about where the story will go (AGAIN).
But rest assured that it will still go somewhere exciting. Eventually. Maybe. We'll see.

I skipped most of Sprinkle's intro, because I didn't feel like drawing a bunch of talking. XD
Anyway, I'll do an explanation and story recap at the same time!
The "Conscience Agency" is where Floyd works. They assigned him to Dawa, but right now he's on vacation (so that he can go back home for a class reunion). Based on Floyd's reports, the agency felt that Dawa couldn't be trusted for even a day or two, without a conscience; so they sent Sprinkle as a temp.
Sprinkle didn't report for duty, right away, because she had some trouble locating Dawa who wanders off into some pretty questionable areas. (Anime-land, time-travel, dreamland, etc.)

Dawa doesn't feel the need to listen to Sprinkle, though, so our tiny temp is being ignored... And possibly mistreated! D:

NOW THEN! I'm going to try to get back on track with the comics and stuff, but I need time to get back into the groove of things, so there isn't really a schedule at the moment.

But the next page will shift back to Floyd's story, and it will start to get exciting in the next few pages, so stay tuned!

If I really had a panda-conscience, maybe this comic would be on time. XD;;

Well, there are a number of things that delayed the posting of comics.
First, sleep disorders pushed me to the brink of "feeling crappyness," and I decided to hold my comics "hostage" until I could "fix" myself.
After a week or two of that, I hadn't solved anything, but I had at least calmed down (accepted my "crazy sleep pattern" fate); and I was feeling ready to draw stuff again, but I had already fallen out of the habbit of drawing on a regular basis (lol) and kept putting things off. (whoops.)
Then around the beginning of April, I started working on a comic (this very one I'm only posting today), but as soon as I started, I decided that I needed to switch to sculpturing my sister's Birthday present. (Had to be ready before the tenth, and I wanted plenty of time to get it right.)
Then there was also other distractions like Easter and my own Birthday.

But, anyway, I finally managed to finish a comic! Sorry it took so long.

Introducing Sprinkle!
I went through several pandas before finally deciding to use the same rockabilly-type fur-swirls that you may remember from another winged panda. (But they aren't the same character.)
I realised that pandas don't look right with most human-type hairstyles. (It makes them look like "Arthur" characters.) But it's hard to make them obviously female, otherwise.
But if it's just a small amount of extra head-fur, like with the swirls, maybe that works out fine?

I wanted to introduce a female classmate into the reunion ark, but due to the afore-mentioned drawback, I had to put it off. However, during my time-off, I gave it absolutely no thought and just remembered right now, as a matter o' fact. So I'll just have to start fresh on planning that. ohoho.

Anyway! I'll stop the rambling there.

And I'll also include my sister's Birthday Dragons, since they were part of the delay. XD

But the image is kind of long, so I'll just be linking to it~

Starting this week, I want to try posting Open Space stuff on a regular basis.

I am currently sewing a dress, and since I'm doing it by hand, it's taking a while. But I've never done this before, so I want to take my time and do it right.
Anyway! I originally planned to start drawing Wednesday's comic in the evening, but then I went to help my sister with her Grocery shopping. (A baby, a toddler, and a week's worth of provisions is too much for one person to juggle.) And now I'm pretty tired.
I'm thinking that I *might* still draw Wednesday's comic in the afternoon, but then I might not. ("No promises" is my policy.) So in the meantime, please enjoy whatever this is:

The two had detention for a week afterwards, for misuse of art supplies.

My generic panda couldn't continue to have an arc about himself, without having a name, so I arbitrarily named him after my favourite plush panda, Mr. Floyd.
Mr. Floyd is no longer mine though, as he was commandeered by my nephew.
He likes to smush his face onto Mr. Floyd's butt and go "Ooooo!"
Then he drools on Mister Floyd and drags him through the dirt.

The plush Mr. Floyd and the Floyd who appears in these comics are not the same entity, though.
But, like, they are instead alternate reality versions of each other? *shrug*

Painting buddies

The flashback portion of today's comic introduces the first of my panda's classmates.
Bruno: Big, clumsy, misunderstood, and violently passionate about his craft. He's also surprisingly light on his feet. (Not that he'd ever let you see him dance.)
I want to say right now, though, that he is NOT a bully.
The incident in the flashback thar was a genuine mistake; and he agonised for months afterword about ruining his little buddy's face. (Don't worry Bruno! He's not upset about it!)
But because he doesn't know his own strength, he breaks a lot of things and most other pandas avoid him.
Our adorable paint-faced protagonist is probably his only pal. D:

Reunion Arc: Start-o

Today's comic marks both a new story-arc and a new format.
I didn't like that I had to shrink the previous comics, so much; so I thought, hay, if I just drew smaller comics to begin with... *shrug*

Anyway, the new arc will feature the generic panda character (that serves as Dawa's conscience), as he returns to his home-town for a reunion. So, look forward to lots and lots of pandas.

But, this does not mean that the Time-Travel arc is through. nonono... I'll still be posting strips relating to that, whenever I think of them. *nod nod*

For those who don't know, my beloved [dog] died because the neighbour (we suspect) put anti-freeze in his water bowl. He was sick for a while (maybe a couple of weeks) and the Vet said nothing could be done. On the last day (while I was at school) I am told that he cried out in agony for three hours before falling silent. (He was already buried before I got home.)

Since I don't know exactly when the water was tainted or if that really was the cause, I couldn't change the outcome time-machine or not.

But if I could go back in time and change one event from my life, if I could know that was going to be the last day; then perfect attendence be damned, I'd stay home. I know I couldn't actually do anything... But I could just "be" there. Say goodbye properly....

I think my style changes depending on my mood.
Compare the last panel of the first comic on this page to the last panel of monday's comic.
The poses are basically the same, but they're drawn really differenly. XD

And then compare these two comics to each other. Even a few hours between them will cause there to be differences in style. What's wrong with you Dawaaaa?

Anyway! You can see here why I shouldn't be allowed to be in charge of children:

I go back in time basically just to kidnap myself.
I encouraged a five year old not only that it's okay to hide alone in the woods, but also to do it in the winter without a coat on.

Recently, I have gotten many letters from your women wishing to enter into a relationship with me. They feel that it is impossible to find men locally and so have turned to dating services or marrige agencies to introduce them to suitable American mates. They are all convinced that I am a good man and that I want to hear all about them. Sometimes the letters contain entire accounts on how their day went. And at the end is always attached a photo. Often it is the same photo, with different names attached.

Okay. I didn't really walk into the door, but I have almost walked into it several times, recently.
Why can't it be open all the way or closed completely? Why does it have to be half open where I'll run into it?
Whyyy? C'mon people, close the freggin door!
And, while I'm at it, stop putting the milk on the edge of the shelf in the refrigerator. Push it back one freggin inch, so that the door will actually close. COME ON, WORK WITH ME, HERE.

In other news!
I know this comic is a day late.
I drew it yesternight, then went to bed. Before falling asleep, I thought "oh crap, I still have to ink/scan/post the comic! ......... Meh. *goes to sleep anyway*"

It's a timeline of Dawaaaa---!

I'm fairly certain that I haven't grown an inch since middle school.

From left to right we have:
Current Dawa (21?): Half bear / half sloth / half pure awesome. Sleeps a lot and downloads too much anime. "I has a sweater."

High School Dawa (16?): Hates everyone. (Execpt "Those girls" and "That one guy.") Draws comics, but isn't any good at it. Does that "proping up the wall" thing and makes good grades, despite looking like a druggie.

Middle School Dawa (13?): Is a roller-blading super hero whose power is apparently to bonk the future with balls from her nerf bazooka OF DOOOOM. Has a crush on half the guys in class. (But can't talk to them.)

Elementary Dawa (9?): Not very bright, but enthusiastic about cool things. Is a full-blown independent film-maker. Also reigns as THE PUPPET MASTER. Wears a smelly hat and spews foul language. Has a crush on that kid who makes everyone laugh.

Mini Dawa (5?): The cutest thing ever. Likes bears, bacon, and that creepy purple Dinosaur. Has a crush on the Blue Power Ranger and Leonardo.

Choose your own Dawasaurus Adventure

For some reason, this comic came out looking like a visual novel, or something. XD
So now "you" are a character in the comic! (And there are dinosaurs around, so be careful.)
The arrows should help you, but if you trust them too much, they might turn on you.

If you don't understand: From panel one, you proceed to panel two, and depending on whether you choose response "A" or "B," you proceed either down (to panel "B") or to the right (to panel "A")... And either way, you will proceed to panel three, after that.

I just did this for laughs, but I might do the next few comics that way, too. XD

Sorry about kind of falling into a winter-induced coma, thar.
One thing you should know about me is that I'm part bear.
So, seriously, I hibernate sometimes. Ohoho.

Anyway, here are some comics, even though it's the wrong day.
One ofthe was drawn before christmas, and the others were drawn yesterday.
I was too lazy to cut them apart, so they are all one image, today.

The panda is kind of my imaginary life-coach. Or my conscience, or something. XD;;

Okay, here is the Prologue for Open Space.

Open Space - Prologue

My first time in space. Would you like to hear about it?

Where I lived, not a lot of people go into space; either for lack of means or for lack of interest. So, when I heard that we (my parents and I) were going into space, it was a pretty big deal. Maybe it wasn't. I don't know. But I was pretty young at the time and it felt that way. Anyway, we were going to visit an old friend of the family who lived on a little planet orbiting the next star over from ours, so it wasn't going to be a long trip, comparatively speaking. (I hear Ferries will take people across galaxies and beyond and there are even special portals for really long trips.)

We didn't hop on ferries or go through portals, though. For shorter trips, such as ours, there are little shuttles. They run on regular schedules and one stops on our planet monthly. (Other bigger planets probably have weekly or daily shuttles, I think. Are there planets that shuttles go to even more often than that?)

After making all the necessary arrangements, we were on our way.

I have to say: Space is pretty neat. If you've never been, you should check it out. Everything looks different once you get out there. We passed through some pretty amazing things. A red planet with a steamy bubbly surface and jets of something that occasionally would spray out of cracks. A gas giant or two... One with swirly pastel clouds and a bunch of misshapen moons. Further out, there was a small, dark, icy planet that looked sad and lonely at the edge of the planetary system. The stars passing by resembled the way snow looks in the car window when you're driving through it at night time. To the right, off in the distance, there was what seemed to be a pretty cloud of gas or dust or something. It was various shades of green and yellow and had lots of stars glowing in it. I should have taken a camera with me, I guess. Whoops.

After a while, the shuttle stopped off at a big gas station type of place, to fuel up. It was called a "Dock," I think. As we were approaching it, it looked kind of like a glass golf ball sitting atop a giant metal tee, floating in space. It looked like there was an entire city, big enough for smaller ships to fly around, inside. (And there are special places for bigger ships to "dock.")

We had some time to kill, so we looked around for someplace to get a bite to eat. Walking about inside, it was incredible. There were so many different types of people going about their business, there. Some of them weren't even people, but aliens or something. (My mother told me not to call them that, out loud, though. I guess it would have offended them.) I think I even saw some robots wandering around. Everything seemed so high-tech. Platforms, signs, and other things were hovering above the crowd… Nothing hovers on our planet.

Finally, we found what I guess was a restaurant. I couldn't read the sign, but there was a picture of a happy-face Cheese Burger. "The language of meat is universal," I heard someone say. A waitress with a pretty smile led us to a table. She had wiggly antennae sticking out of her head. (Mother elbowed me in the ribs and said not to stare. Are women self conscious about things sticking out of their heads? I thought they looked kind of cool.)

We were sitting towards the back of the place at a table with a curved bench-type seat; but up front there was what looked like a bar with a type of music playing that I've never heard before or since. It seemed to have a good beat, though. (I think it was called "disco," or something.) There was one man with big, poofy hair that was dancing alone by the bar. No one else was dancing. Some people were giving him strange looks, though.

We ordered what looked tasty, based on the menu pictures. (Some of it looked pretty bizarre.) And it came fairly quick. At the table next to ours, there was a young couple with a baby. (She seemed to be asleep the whole time, though.) They were pretty friendly. The girl was chatting with my mother, and the guy was showing off baby photos... Or were they pictures of his car? I can't remember, but he was beaming with pride, either way.

The couple (and baby) had come in before us, so they left after not too long. As they were going out, though, another group was coming in. They were the complete opposite of those that left, in regard to the type of vibes you got from them. I know it's not good to judge a book by its cover, but you could see it in the reactions of everyone in the room: Looking fearful, cowering in their seats, some discretely shifting to the other end of the restaurant. These were obviously bad men. In fact, I would venture that they weren't new to the area. They had an air about them, like that was their turf.

They sort of reminded me of a type of sea-faring people I read about in a book, once... What were they called, again? ... "Pirates," I think. In the book it says that they attack cargo ships for plunder (or for the ship, itself) and usually kill or maroon everyone on board. The men in the restaurant carried weapons (swords, guns, etc); and one had a patch over an eye, I think. They talked with slurred, foul speech. What if they really were pirates? I was afraid.

My first time in space was.......... not so great.

The leader of the group (at least, I assume he was the leader) was speaking rather heatedly with a curly-moustache guy, sitting at the bar. I couldn't understand what they were saying, but it seemed like they were having a disagreement. My parents both looked pretty worried. I tried to ask what was going on, but I was hushed and Mother told me to pretend to be asleep. I wasn't tired, though, and thought that was a silly thing to do; but I did what I was told, anyway. So, I laid my head down on her lap and closed my eyes. (But I kept one eye open a bit, so that I could still watch what was happening... That didn't work too well. Because the table was in the way, I could only see their legs.)

After a bit, the pirate got louder and I heard a loud slamming noise and saw a table tip over. Other voices got involved and there were loud "thunks" and sounds that might have been punching noises. Then I heard the distinct "shiiing" of metal clashing with metal. The swords had come into play. There was a loud "bang." (Or was it a "pow?") It was gun fire. Curly-moustache guy fell to the ground, with a hand clasped over a blood soaked upper-arm. His face was twisted in agony and it was terrifying. By then, I really did close my eyes (as tight as they would go) and pretend to be asleep. I covered my ears, too. I didn't want to hear any more of this... But I was still able to hear some of it. (Covering your ears only really dulls and distorts the sound, but doesn't block it out, completely.) There were lots more gun and sword sounds, coming from various directions, and many angered voices, as well. It felt like all hell had broken loose.

Then, I thought I heard my father's voice. Was he actually confronting the pirates? Was he worried that they were going to hurt Moustache guy again? "No no, don't get involved," I thought. "Don't talk to the pirates, just pretend to be asleep." ...... I heard another gunshot. And then Mother's voice, calling out Father's name. Was he shot?! I wanted to know, but I didn't want to look. I just closed my eyes tighter and tried to block out more noise.

Mother had scooted out from under me and rushed over (I assume) to Father's side. If he is hurt, she will make it better. She's good at that. (Or, at least, that's how it is when I get hurt.) I thought I heard her exclaim something like "Oh my god, what have you done?!" But then there was yet another shot and a pained scream. At that, I had to open my eyes. (It sounded like mother, after all.)

The scene that met my eyes was nothing for a child to see. Both of my parents collapsed on the floor, with crimson puddles forming beneath them... It was too much to bear. Hot tears began streaming down my face and wouldn't stop. I wanted to go over to them, but there were too many pirates over there and I was too scared. I thought about if there was anything I could do for them. Ideas like "go get a doctor," or "seek revenge," popped up, but what could someone as young and as small as I was, at the time, really do? I couldn't fight the pirates and even if there was a doctor around, I probably wouldn't speak his language. I started to wish I was back home on my planet. First of all, nothing like this would happen there. It was a safe place. And we knew and were friends with everyone, so even if something did happen, someone would be around to help.

My vision had blurred from the tears, but I blinked away as much as I could. I had to at least see who did this. Slowly, I looked up; and there, standing over them, with the barrel of his gun still smoking, featuring the most sinister grin I've ever seen plastered on a face I will never forget. He was one of the "pirates" from the group that came in before, but was not the leader. In contrast to the leader, (who seemed to have a real issue with Moustache guy,) this pirate was far more despicable, and looked like he was just killing people for fun. (And loving every minute of it.) Is he what is known as a "sadist?" (Probably.)

Just then, his eyes locked with mine and he got a real psychotic look on his face. I had been spotted. (Can't go back to pretending to sleep, now.) I needed to get away, so looked frantically around for an exit. It looked like the way we came in is the only way out, but I'd have to pass through a swarm of trouble to go that way. As the crazy pirate started aiming his gun in my direction and I was concentrating hard on the door (hoping to suddenly develop some sort of teleportation ability), it opened. Did my concentration powers summon more pirates? (Looks that way!) More pirates. This was the last thing I wanted.

The first one that came in had a beard that was a brownish-purplish colour, and was wearing a green coat. If this new group was also a pirate crew, he seemed like a "captain" type. He (and the crew behind him) took one look at Curly-Moustache guy on the floor (who seemed to still be breathing) and got really mad. He drew his sword and pointed it toward the leader of the other pirates, and said words that I still remember clearly: "Anibal Feldman, ye ask'd fer it." Following his lead the other pirates drew their weapons and started attacking the other group. (I guess moustache guy was/is a friend of theirs.)

I was afraid of this new crew, also; but for the moment, it seemed that Crazy-gun pirate's attention was off of me. So I scurried over to hide behind the bar. (It seemed to be an uneventful area.) The disco-dancing guy from before was there, also. He made some comment about violence not being "groovy." (I'm not sure what that word means, though.)

I peeked over the bar, to see what I could see. Captain Green-coat and his men seemed to have the upper hand. They weren't killing anyone, but they were giving "Anibal Feldman" and his men quite a beating. I don't know why, but it almost felt comical to see pirates who were acting so fierce, minutes before, to suddenly be having a whole heap of bad luck... Almost. But I'll probably never be able to laugh about any of it. This new group can't change what has already happened. (Thinking about that, new tears started pouring out, with a renewed force.)

After the fight drew on, for a little while, Anibal Feldman and his fellow pirates-turned-cowards started inching towards the exit. Once there, he spoke (this time, in a language I could understand), "We won't ferget dis, Hyperion, ye 'aven't seen the last'v us!" With that, they were gone, and the whole restaurant seemed to heave a sigh of relief... Or was that just me?

The remaining pirates started bustling around putting tables and chairs upright and picking up broken plates and things, while a funny-looking robot wearing a bandana tended to Curly-Moustache guy. (It looks like he'll be alright.) For pirates, they don't seem like such bad people... At least, not as bad as that other crew. Actually, they seemed kind of cool, while fighting...

Hyperion (with the green coat) came over and asked if I was alright... But I couldn't stop crying long enough to answer. (Well I tried, but it just sounded like random blubbering.) I was thinking about what I should do, since my family was gone. One thought was that I could go ahead to that friend of the family's house and hope that he would help. But I didn't like the idea of asking for help from someone I don't really know. Another thing I could do is stay right where I am, and get a job here in this restaurant. (Or somewhere else in the dock.) Or I could have gone back to my house on my planet and just lived alone. But there were a lot of things that I still didn't know how to do, such as cook. (Hell, I couldn't even reach the top shelves of the refrigerator.)

Curly-Moustache guy came over, still clutching his wounded arm, and introduced himself as Pete, saying that he is "so sorry;" but I wasn't sure why he was apologizing. It's not like anything was his fault. He asked if I had any other relatives, but I told him that my parents were the only ones I knew of. He said, "I'm so sorry," again, and had a really sad expression. He was (unintentionally) making me feel even worse.

Suddenly, Hyperion gave me a hard pat on the back and belted out some boisterous laughter, "Don' worry s'much! Ye can come wid us!"

I was shocked, to say the least... Did this pirate just ask me to join his crew?

My first time in space was nothing like I thought it would be.

My main account is "Dawa-Chan," but I am using my older account, "Dale-Panza" to prance around the MMO. (It is called "zOMG!" but I think that name is stupid, so I will just call it "Gaia MMO.")

I totally forgot to draw a comic for today, until a few minutes ago. XD

Also, starting in November, I will be trying to get a "significant" amount of progress done on "Open Space," the novel/comic/thing that I've had "in the works" for far too long.
So, since I might not have time to do thrice-weekly comics during that time, I will most-likely be posting OS content here. (Lucky-lucky.) It might be snipets, and it might be entire chapters. I don't know yet, but look forward to it. :D

But, needless to say, that "monday wednesday friday" thing will not be in effect during November.

Hopefully, whatever I post will be worth the time.

He was a "mix" of several types of dog, but looked most like a German Sheppard.

There was a time when I was terrified of dogs... But! After we got this one (who also seemed pretty untrusting of humans), that all changed. <3

I thought that maybe, JUST MAYBE, I had been drawing too many "just standing around" comics... So, here is some poorly-drawn sword play.
Is that the most badly drawn plastic light saber (green model) that I see thar?...
Yes, it might just be.

The scimitar is not quite as bad, but the handle is backwards.

And yes: At that age, I was already concerned with things such as the size of my boobs.

I found out later, though, that it was actually perverted thoughts (and not fatty food) that made them grow. lol.

I chose to mention APE, because it is also in California... So I guess that would be the closest to "Hollywood" that I would ever get. XD (I remembered, later, that another similar expo is also in San Fran... Also there is SDCC... Oh well.)

"Time Travel" Prologue

Okay. Don't expect me to post this many comics at once on a regular basis, but I just felt the need to go ahead and get the set-up out of the way in one go.
Also, I'm a comic-producing machine, and there is no off-switch on this thing.

Anyway, here are Monday's comics:

As it turns out, my father is single-handedly responsible for the recent fat-evolution ("fatvolution?") of local squirrels. Oh, how I wish I had "before and after" photos of what has been done here.
And, yes. Everyone knows that T-Rex was the direct ancestor of modern dogs. :D
They like it when you scratch them under the chin.

Well, a while back, I considered drawing a few gag comics relating to the "Dawa of the past." (Younger-self.) Then I started reading Kate Beaton's comics, and she had several "younger-self" comics, also... After that, I wanted to do my own even more. (It wouldn't be the first time I did something just because Kate did.)

Back in June, I drew the following picture, but never posted it.
It was meant as a "Get ready for comics with these folks" type of picture, so I wanted to wait until I actually had those comics before posting the picture.

Anyway! Now that I have this nifty (or pathetic) new webcomic, I am newly inspired to start on those comics... And I have started drawing the first "page" or "strip."

So, anyway! This picture, I guess, serves as a "cover picture" for the "story-line," and gives you an idea of what it will be like. Dawa (middle) uses time-machine to pester younger-Dawa (left) and visit Doggy (right) and they hang out or something.

And as you see here, Sometimes I draw Dawa in a non-SD way.

I would also post this on DeviantART, but I'm too lazy.

This post contained spoilers (I guess) for the upcoming comics... But I don't really care.

A little later in the day than I planned on posting; but it's a Three-Parter and you get it all today... So I thik I'll be forgiven?

This is a true story, though. (That's why it might be boring?)
But I think I might have done some ad-libbing, because it was a year or two ago, and my memory is bad.

I can't remember the guy's name, so we'll just call him RICK.
But, c'mon, why do men never call me just for dates?

I think that someone else must have put my information on one of those, without telling me.
That person is no longer my friend.

It took all of my will-power to not cry.
That is how much telephone calls make me panic.

Oh man, my hand-writing is so bad.

One Day, I will have a website...

...But today is not the day.

I will be using this blog for my webcomic, until I become an artist with money and a website.

[INTRODUCTION-thing]

The comics will mainly feature my character (Dawa), who sometimes wears a Dinosaur costume (Dawasaurus), and will deal with whatever happens to be on my mind at the time.
I have other characters, too, but I will wait to introduce them until they actually appear.

But there is a generic panda character that I will draw sometimes. That panda does not have a name. (But sometimes I will draw more specific-looking pandas, and they DO have names?)
Anyway, the Generic panda is sometimes a stand-in for real-world people, or for fictional characters I was too lazy to create... This is just so Dawa(Saurus) isn't talking to herself.

[comic FORMAT]

I will probably draw most strips in a "three panels, horizontal" format, but there will be times when I feel like drawing in other formats, such as "comic book page" format, or "verticle" format.

But, since I read a lot of manga, and used to call my comics "manga" some of you might be thinking that you should read my comics like you would read manga. YOU ARE WRONG.

These comics read left-to-right. (The western way.)

Also, whenever I feel like it, there might be colour, or shading; but other times it will just be line-art. You will be good children, and take what you are given.

[FREQUENCY]

I have not yet decided how often I will be doing these comics, but the "monday, wednesday, friday" format seems to be popular with the kids, these days.

And, oh look! It's Wednesday, you lucky duck.

I will be shoving a comic down the chute, just as soon as I draw it.
